Our Mission.

Holes Fore Hope mission is to provide financial resources for education scholarships and benevolence requests in the Golf and Country Club community in Minnesota.

Holes Fore Hope was formed as a tribute to assist Golf and Country Club management professionals (or their dependents) who incur overwhelming expenses due to medical hardship without comprehensive insurance or adequate financial resources. Holes Fore Hope is unique in its approach to philanthropy because of its focus on the most important asset in the club business its “employees.”

Holes Fore Hope members are grounded in the belief that the game of golf has given them more than they can give back to the game. In the spirit of gratitude and grace they are committed to investing in those who’ve made a career in the business.

Our History.

Holes Fore Hope started on cold, winter night in December 2018 over a few cold pints at a bar popular with golfers in Minnesota. Seven good friends, all with a passion for golf and fortunate enough to play at private clubs in Minnesota, reminisced over another great golf season that had come to an end here in the northland. As the pints flowed, they collectively realized how lucky we were to have such a great golf experience here in Minnesota. They all agreed that the quality of Golf and overall Country Club experience was driven in large part by hard working, dedicated club employees. The group decided that night that it was time to create an organization dedicated to serving the private Golf and Country Club employees in Minnesota.

So lo and behold this team of dedicated volunteers went to work leveraging their network of golfing buddies, business associates, friends, and family to share the spirit of the mission. After 9 months of planning and sharing their vision to create an inclusive golf experience in Minnesota they hosted the first ever Holes Fore Hope fundraiser on October 3, 2019.

The night was a memorable one and a smashing success. PGA Tour stars Tim Herron and Rocco Mediate hosted a fireside chat for the guests and shared behind the scene experiences from both the PGA and the Champions tour. The room was overflowing with laughter, gratitude, love for the game of golf, and pure passion for the foundation and its mission. We raised $80,000 dollars to kickstart the foundation and start the beginning of what will be decades of legacy giving in both benevolence and scholarship requests.
